Before I came to TU Delft for the master program, I have an expectation on what I want to learn. However, thing doesn’t always go on well. Although it is a little bit sad to say so, it is a fact that my expectation isn’t fulfilled and I am still looking for self-development direction nearly after my graduation. It’s difficult to say this two year experiences is a plus or minus, but indeed it leaves a footprint in my live forever.

I won’t blame on the education for my subtle disappointment. Rather, I gain the opportunity to rethink my expectation and try to verify it. Actually, my expectation is a big and vague question which probably needs my whole life to answer and achieve. What I want to express here is that although studying abroad is a dream for most Chinese student, when it comes true, please take it easy, slow down your breath and leave you some moments to reconsider your original motivation.  You need to make it simple and clear to you, and treat it as your most valuable treasure to pursue in your life.

As it won’t always rain, I also have lots of funny stories to share with you during my life in TUD. First of all, I have made a group of great friends. I get to know the Dutch Culture and feel interested to understand that they are so different from me to deal with the same issue. In the academy wise, the education improves my research skill and design method. I know what I am good at and what I need to improve. In a word, the two years study experience is an ending for my recent study period and also an opening for my early career.
